Speaktoit scores big investments in Series B Round

Russian startup Speaktoit has raised as much as 2,6$ mln in Series B funding, as stated by Venturebeat. Speaktoit, which was created by Pavel Sirotin, Artem Goncharuk and Ilya Gelfenbeyn, is a sort of cross-platform assistant, which is able to execute actions based on vocal commands. Services used by Speaktoit to execute its operations include Yandex, Google, Wikipedia, Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Evernote, Yelp.

Speaktoit attracted investments from the likes of Motorola Solutions Venture Capital, Intel Capital, Apline Technology Fun and Plug and Play Ventures. The company has declared that it will use its funds to expand its engineering team and to expand the use of its technology. This is not the first time that Speaktoit has attracted major investments, since in 2012 it received 3$ mln in series A funding by Intel Capital and Alpine Technology Fund.
