Nizhny Novgorod's new technopark to open in December

Ankudinovka, a new IT-Park will open in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia’s 5th largest city, this December. 

Amerxan Kulikov, the project’s general director told RIA Novosti “in December we expect to have completed the park’s main building - the business centre. Then it will be possible to open the park for business." The park’s main residents will be innovative companies specializing in IT, biotech, technical manufacturing and chemical technologies. 


According to Kulikov, the total cost of the park will be over $100 million. $50 million have already been spent on infrastructure and communications, while the rest of the money is to come from the Park’s resident companies. 

Ankudinovka is being built as part of the national government’s “Creation of hi-tech Technoparks” program, which includes the construction of technoparks in Mordovia, Samara Oblast, Kaluzhskaya Oblast, Penza, Tyumen, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Kazan.
